In order to benefit from Espresso confirmations, the chain must be integrated with the Espresso stack. This involves modifying the corresponding components (e.g. sequencer) to read from the Espresso Network.

Espresso is designed to be modular and flexible, but at the moment there are no plug-and-play SDKs or automated tooling for adding new rollups. This means that integrating a rollup requires hands-on work and direct modification of the rollup’s components.

Depending on the stack of the chain, the integration may differ.
